Murals in Barcaldine

Barcaldine is home to a number of wonderful murals.

One of the most important is a painting of a sand goanna by Australian iconic painter d’Arcy Doyle and is located in Oak Street. d’Arcy painted and donated the painting to the community of Barcaldine in appreciation of the wonderful time he had while holidaying here.
