The afternoon features a poetry reading and performance by Leroy Wilson, Barcaldine born poet and musician, accompanied by participants from the CWAC Poetry Program. Followed by an Outback Exchange Q&A panel with Leroy Wilson, Will Remedy (Good Will Remedy), 2026 Toyota Starmaker Jarrad Wrigley, and the unforgettable Tori Darke. Tori will also deliver a special performance, bringing her music and stories to life in the heart of Barcaldine.

Meet locals, share a yarn, enjoy a classic sausage sizzle, and soak up genuine Outback hospitality at this pay-what-you-want event — all about good food, great company, and meaningful moments along the trail.

After the Exchange, continue the evening at the Hotel Shakespeare for a relaxed meal, a chance to mingle, and a live performance from Will Remedy.
