It recognises the wars, confrontations and the need for peace keeping forces since World War II. The monument was unveiled at the Anzac Day service on Tuesday 25 April 2017.
The memorial is the result of funding obtained through the Queensland Government’s Community Benefit Fund and Capital Works supplied by Barcaldine Regional Council.
